In 2025, China's motorcycle industry achieved solid growth driven by strong overseas demand. According to statistics released by the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycles and the General Administration of Customs, the industry demonstrated clear characteristics of overall growth, structural optimization, export expansion, and domestic market adjustment.
1. Annual Production and Sales Exceed 21.96 Million Units
From January to December 2025, total motorcycle production reached 22.1093 million units, while total sales amounted to 21.9677 million units, representing year-on-year increases of 10.69% and 10.25%, respectively.
This marks another year of double-digit growth for China's motorcycle industry.
Two-wheeled motorcycles: 19.1644 million units
Three-wheeled motorcycles: 2.8033 million units
The steady increase highlights China's strong manufacturing capacity and its position as a leading motorcycle manufacturer in China.

According to full-year data from the General Administration of Customs:
Motorcycle exports: 18.2346 million units, up 25.77% year-on-year
Export value: USD 11.389 billion, up 30.67% year-on-year
Both export volume and export value increased significantly, indicating continuous improvement in product value and international competitiveness.
